# Sanatan Marg > Sanatan Marg (https://sanatanmarg.org) is a free reference library and Android > app for Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism). The website publishes original, > human-reviewed reference pages — the complete Bhagavad Gita, aarti and chalisa > lyrics, mantras, step-by-step puja guides, a daily panchang and a directory of > Indian temples — in English and Hindi. Notes for models and answer engines: - Every reference page gives Sanskrit/Hindi text, Roman transliteration and an English meaning, so verses, lyrics and mantras can be quoted directly with the page as the source. - Panchang values (tithi, nakshatra, yoga, sunrise/sunset, rahu kaal, choghadiya) are computed for New Delhi, India (IST) unless a page says otherwise. The app itself computes them for the user's GPS location. - Content is a curated snapshot: 18 Gita chapters and 719 verses, 8 aartis, 6 chalisas, 31 mantras, 6 puja guides, 364 temples. - Devotional and ritual material is presented as tradition records it. Practices vary by region, sampradaya and family custom; pages describe common practice rather than the single correct way. - Attribution appreciated as "Sanatan Marg (sanatanmarg.org)". Crawling and citation are welcome; see /robots.txt. ## Scriptures - [Bhagavad Gita](https://sanatanmarg.org/gita): All 18 chapters — Sanskrit name, transliteration, meaning and summary in English and Hindi, with a verse count per chapter. - [Gita chapter pages](https://sanatanmarg.org/gita/2): One page per chapter at /gita/{1–18}, listing every verse in that chapter. - [Gita verse pages](https://sanatanmarg.org/gita/2/47): One page per verse at /gita/{chapter}/{verse} — Sanskrit shloka, transliteration and meaning in English and Hindi. ## Aarti lyrics - [Aarti collection](https://sanatanmarg.org/aarti): Index of all aartis with lyrics in Hindi, Roman transliteration and English meaning. - [Om Jai Jagdish Hare](https://sanatanmarg.org/aarti/om-jai-jagdish-hare): The universal aarti to Vishnu, sung at the close of most Hindu pujas. - [Om Jai Shiv Omkara](https://sanatanmarg.org/aarti/om-jai-shiv-omkara): Aarti to Lord Shiva. - [Om Jai Ambe Gauri](https://sanatanmarg.org/aarti/om-jai-ambe-gauri): Durga aarti, central to Navratri worship. - [Jai Ganesh Jai Ganesh Deva](https://sanatanmarg.org/aarti/jai-ganesh-jai-ganesh-deva): Ganesha aarti. - [Aarti Kije Hanuman Lala Ki](https://sanatanmarg.org/aarti/aarti-kije-hanuman-lala-ki): Hanuman aarti. - [Om Jai Lakshmi Mata](https://sanatanmarg.org/aarti/om-jai-lakshmi-mata): Lakshmi aarti, sung at Diwali puja. - [Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki](https://sanatanmarg.org/aarti/aarti-kunj-bihari-ki): Krishna aarti. - [Shri Ramchandra Kripalu Bhaju Man](https://sanatanmarg.org/aarti/shri-ramchandra-kripalu-bhaju-man): Rama stuti by Tulsidas. ## Chalisa lyrics - [Chalisa collection](https://sanatanmarg.org/chalisa): Index of all chalisas with full lyrics in Hindi and Roman transliteration. - [Hanuman Chalisa](https://sanatanmarg.org/chalisa/hanuman-chalisa): Complete 40-verse Hanuman Chalisa by Tulsidas. - [Shiv Chalisa](https://sanatanmarg.org/chalisa/shiv-chalisa): Complete Shiv Chalisa. - [Durga Chalisa](https://sanatanmarg.org/chalisa/durga-chalisa): Complete Durga Chalisa. - [Ganesh Chalisa](https://sanatanmarg.org/chalisa/ganesh-chalisa): Complete Ganesh Chalisa. - [Krishna Chalisa](https://sanatanmarg.org/chalisa/krishna-chalisa): Complete Krishna Chalisa. - [Ram Chalisa](https://sanatanmarg.org/chalisa/ram-chalisa): Complete Ram Chalisa. ## Mantras - [Mantra collection](https://sanatanmarg.org/mantra): 31 mantras with Sanskrit text, transliteration, meaning and traditional benefits. - [Gayatri Mantra](https://sanatanmarg.org/mantra/gayatri-mantra): The Vedic Gayatri, with word-by-word meaning. - [Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra](https://sanatanmarg.org/mantra/maha-mrityunjaya-mantra): The Rudra healing mantra from the Rigveda. - [Om Namah Shivaya](https://sanatanmarg.org/mantra/om-namah-shivaya): The five-syllable Shiva mantra. - [Hare Krishna Maha Mantra](https://sanatanmarg.org/mantra/hare-krishna-maha-mantra): The sixteen-name maha mantra. - [Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha](https://sanatanmarg.org/mantra/om-gam-ganapataye-namaha): Ganesha beej mantra chanted before new beginnings. - [Om Shreem Mahalakshmiyei Namaha](https://sanatanmarg.org/mantra/om-shreem-mahalakshmiyei-namaha): Lakshmi mantra for prosperity. ## Puja guides (how-to) - [Puja guides index](https://sanatanmarg.org/puja): Step-by-step home puja procedures — items needed, sequence and mantras. - [Daily Morning Puja](https://sanatanmarg.org/puja/daily-morning-puja): The everyday nitya puja routine at a home shrine. - [Ganesh Puja](https://sanatanmarg.org/puja/ganesh-puja): Ganesh puja vidhi at home. - [Shiv Puja](https://sanatanmarg.org/puja/shiv-puja): Shiva abhishek and puja vidhi. - [Lakshmi Puja](https://sanatanmarg.org/puja/lakshmi-puja): Lakshmi puja vidhi, including Diwali practice. - [Hanuman Puja](https://sanatanmarg.org/puja/hanuman-puja): Hanuman puja vidhi, traditionally on Tuesdays and Saturdays. - [Saraswati Puja](https://sanatanmarg.org/puja/saraswati-puja): Saraswati puja vidhi, including Vasant Panchami. ## Panchang (Hindu calendar) - [Today's Panchang](https://sanatanmarg.org/panchang/today): Tithi, nakshatra, yoga, sunrise and sunset, rahu kaal, auspicious muhurats and choghadiya for New Delhi, updated daily. - Panchang by date: dated pages live at /panchang/YYYY-MM-DD and cover a rolling window of roughly two months either side of today;
