Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sanatan Marg: Mandir, Panchang application ("App") provided by SNOWPEX TECHNOLOGIES ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or otherwise using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App is a spiritual companion application offering a Ghar Mandir for daily puja, a daily Panchang, the Bhagavad Gita, aartis and chalisas, puja guides, a mantra jap counter, live darshan, a temple directory and other devotional content for the Sanatana Dharma community. The App is provided "as is" and features may change over time.

3. User Accounts

• No registration is required. Your account is automatically created and identified by a unique Device ID generated on your device. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier, but never your password.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur through the App on your device. If you believe your device or App session has been compromised, please contact us immediately at support@snowpex.com.
• If you uninstall the App or reset your device, your Device ID may change and any associated data or progress may not be recoverable.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Upload, post, or transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content through the App.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or its related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App without our written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, audio, and software — is the property of SNOWPEX TECHNOLOGIES or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

Spiritual texts included in the App, such as the Bhagavad Gita, aartis and chalisas, are sourced from public-domain translations and repositories and remain in the public domain.

6. In-App Purchases, Sanatan Plus & Lifetime Access

The App offers Sanatan Plus, an optional paid upgrade, which may be sold as a recurring subscription or as a one-time "Lifetime" purchase. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are also subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies. All purchases are final unless otherwise required by applicable law or our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time; a price change does not affect a purchase you have already made.

a. What "Lifetime" means

"Lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of the App, not to the lifetime of the purchaser or to any fixed number of years. A Lifetime purchase gives you access to Sanatan Plus features for as long as we continue to operate the App and offer Sanatan Plus, without any further recurring charge. It is a personal, non-transferable licence linked to the account used to make the purchase. It is not a sale of the App or of any content, and it does not include any separate product or service we may offer in the future.

b. Changes to Sanatan Plus features

We may add, change or remove individual features, content or third-party integrations included in Sanatan Plus — for example, where a content licence or third-party service is no longer available to us. Where we remove a significant feature, we will try to offer a reasonable alternative. A change to individual features does not by itself entitle you to a refund.

c. Discontinuation of the App or Sanatan Plus

We may discontinue the App, or Sanatan Plus, in whole or in part, at any time — including where continuing to operate it is no longer commercially viable, or for legal, technical or security reasons. If we do so:

• We will give at least 30 days' notice in the App and, where we have your email address, by email. Shorter or no notice may be given where shutdown is required by law or a court order, to address a security threat, or due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• We will stop offering new Lifetime purchases as soon as we decide to discontinue Sanatan Plus or the App.
• Lifetime access will end on the discontinuation date. We will cancel recurring subscriptions so that you are not charged again after that date.
• Except where required by applicable law, no full or partial refund is payable for a Lifetime purchase when the App or Sanatan Plus is discontinued. You acknowledge that the one-time price of a Lifetime purchase reflects the fact that the App may not operate indefinitely.
• Before the discontinuation date, you may request a copy or deletion of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

d. Transfer of the App

If the App is sold or transferred to another operator, we may transfer your Lifetime access to that operator, who will then be responsible for honouring it under these Terms. If Lifetime access is not transferred, it will be treated as a discontinuation of Sanatan Plus under section 6(c).

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Accuracy of Religious & Spiritual Content

The App contains devotional and spiritual content including, but not limited to, aartis, chalisas, mantras, shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita and other sacred texts. While we strive to present this content faithfully, please be aware of the following:

• Some content may differ slightly from certain regional, sectarian, or traditionally accepted versions. Variations in wording, transliteration, or translation may exist across different sampradayas and lineages.
• Aarties, prayers, and stotras included in the App may be adapted for readability or audio presentation and might not match every printed or oral tradition exactly.
• We do not claim that any content in the App represents the sole authoritative version of any scripture, prayer, or ritual text.
• Users are encouraged to consult their guru, pandit, or a trusted traditional source for matters requiring precise scriptural accuracy, especially for religious ceremonies and rituals.

SNOWPEX TECHNOLOGIES makes no representations or warranties regarding the completeness, precision, or authenticity of any spiritual or religious content in the App and shall not be held responsible for any discrepancies between the content provided and any particular traditional or authoritative source.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SNOWPEX TECHNOLOGIES shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Pooja Booking — Terms

By booking a Pooja through the Sanatan Marg application, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• All Pooja bookings are subject to availability and may be rescheduled or cancelled by the temple administration due to religious observances, festivals, technical difficulties, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Proof of Pooja completion, including photographs and/or videos, will be uploaded to your booking within the timeframe communicated at the time of booking.
• Prasad, where applicable and selected, will be shipped to the address provided at the time of booking. Sanatan Marg is not responsible for delays caused by courier services or incorrect addresses supplied by the user.
• All payments made for Pooja bookings are processed securely through our payment partner, Razorpay, and Sanatan Marg does not store any card or banking credentials.
