अधश्चोर्ध्वं प्रसृतास्तस्य शाखा
गुणप्रवृद्धा विषयप्रवालाः |
अधश्च मूलान्यनुसन्ततानि
कर्मानुबन्धीनि मनुष्यलोके ||१५-२||
Transliteration· ट्रांसलिटरेशन
adhaścordhvaṃ prasṛtāstasya śākhā guṇapravṛddhā viṣayapravālāḥ .
adhaśca mūlānyanusantatāni karmānubandhīni manuṣyaloke ||15-2||
Meaning· अर्थ
Its branches spread downward and upward, grown by the guṇas, with sense-objects as their tender shoots. And its roots extend downward, binding through karma in the world of men.
उसकी शाखाएँ नीचे और ऊपर फैली हुई हैं, गुणों से बढ़ी हुई, और विषय जिनकी कोमल कोंपलें हैं। और उसकी जड़ें नीचे तक फैली हुई हैं, जो मनुष्यलोक में कर्म से बाँधने वाली हैं।
