How choghadiya is calculated· गणना

The day (sunrise to sunset) and the night (sunset to the next sunrise) are each divided into eight equal parts of about an hour and a half. The day begins with the choghadiya of the weekday’s ruling planet and follows a fixed cycle, so the sequence repeats every week but the clock times move with sunrise.
