यजन्ते सात्त्विका देवान्यक्षरक्षांसि राजसाः |
प्रेतान्भूतगणांश्चान्ये यजन्ते तामसा जनाः ||१७-४||
Transliteration· ट्रांसलिटरेशन
yajante sāttvikā devānyakṣarakṣāṃsi rājasāḥ .
pretānbhūtagaṇāṃścānye yajante tāmasā janāḥ ||17-4||
Meaning· अर्थ
The sattvic worship the gods; the rajasic worship the yakshas and rakshasas; and others, the tamasic people, worship the spirits of the dead and the hosts of ghosts.
सात्त्विक लोग देवताओं की पूजा करते हैं; राजसिक लोग यक्षों और राक्षसों की पूजा करते हैं; और अन्य तामसिक लोग प्रेतों और भूतगणों की पूजा करते हैं।
