About Bhai Dooj· महत्व
Yamuna had long invited her brother Yama to visit. When he finally came she welcomed him with a tilak and a meal, and Yama blessed every brother who receives a tilak from his sister on this day. Krishna is also said to have visited Subhadra on this day after slaying Narakasura. Kayastha families worship Chitragupta on Yama Dwitiya.
